  A wonderful place to spend some time, especially on a fine day. The Abbey ruins are an impressive reminder of the scale and power of the monasteries, set in a valley surrounded by mixed woodland showing the most fantastic Autumn colours.
  The adjacent landscaping of Studley Royal is beautifully maintained by the NT and populated by a profusion of wildlife and offers several lovely walks.
  There's a gift shop, of course, cafes and toilet facilities, and guides in the grounds are very knowledgeable and helpful.
